Paul Cleary brings over three decades of luxury travel expertise to his role as Partner & Chief Commercial Officer of ID Travel Group and CEO of CARIBTOURS, the UK’s leading luxury tour operator. Based in London, Paul is passionate about curating exceptional travel experiences, championing high-touch service, and fostering deep relationships across the industry. 

Following the merger of CARIBTOURS and ID Travel Group in January 2024, Paul officially joined the leadership team, bringing with him a longstanding admiration for ID’s values and vision. His relationship with ID founder Maurice Bonham-Carter spans more than 30 years—beginning with a meeting in the British Virgin Islands and evolving through years of friendship, collaboration, and shared business philosophies. “We’re excited for the next chapter,” Paul says. “Our shared values make this partnership a natural fit.” 

Paul believes that while the luxury travel landscape continues to evolve—with technology and social media influencing how people travel—the fundamentals remain unchanged. Paul is based in Chelsea, London, and when not exploring new luxury destinations, he enjoys time at home in the beautiful West Sussex countryside with his wife Debbie and their 3 children. A dedicated marathon runner, Paul participates in the London Marathon each year and lives life with the same energy and determination he brings to the travel industry.
