With a career rooted in luxury hospitality, she has helped guide the company through decades of growth—from its beginnings as a Caribbean-focused tour operator to its current status as a global leader in luxury travel. 

Laurie is a firm believer in the power of personal connection and the enduring value of travel advisors. “Technology can’t replace the human touch,” she says. “We’re still standing because relationships, expertise, and high-touch service will always matter.” 

Her role takes her across the globe in search of the next great destination or five-star resort experience to bring to ID’s loyal network of top travel advisors. But for Laurie, it’s more than just business—it’s a calling. One of her most meaningful moments was visiting ID’s adopted school, Enid Capron Primary in Turks and Caicos, where she saw firsthand the impact of giving back to the communities ID partners with. “From a small company to one that can make a real difference—that’s the heart of who we are.” 

Laurie is passionate about progress and embraces change with optimism. She continues to lead ID’s global expansion while staying grounded in the values that built the company: trust, passion, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. “We never sit still,” she says. “We’re always evolving, always looking for what’s next.” 

Outside the office, Laurie loves nothing more than spending time with her husband and son. Whether entertaining friends at home in Greenwich CT, discovering the newest culinary hotspot, or enjoying a yoga session, she finds balance in the same kind of curated, thoughtful experiences she delivers to ID clients. While she travels the world, Italy continues to hold a special place in her heart.
